Construction:  rear focus via rack and pinion (two gear tracks on top of base rails); double swing; three-piece lensboard
Materials:  mahogany finished cherry body and base; brass hardware; fabric bellows
Sizes Offered: 5x7; 6.5x8.5; 8x10
Notes: Identical to the Seneca Camera Co. Competitor View.  Starting about 1903, Gennert re-sold the Seneca Improved View and the Seneca Competitor (as the New York View).  About 1908, they also re-sold Gundlach and Conley models.  It is not known whether such cameras bear a Gennert  label.
