lensboard; non-reversing; ground glass frame hinges down
Materials: cherry body; cherry bed; brown (photos) or black
fabric bellows; nickeled hardware; varnish finish
Sizes Offered: 3.25x4.25; 4x5
(photo below); 4.25x6.5; 5x7; 5x8 (photos above);
6.5-8.5; 8x10
Notes: a very inexpensive, and, therefore, long-lived model.
It co-existed for many years with the very similar New Model
Improved. The illustrated camera is 5x8. The wooden case is varnished, and
has an internal lock, which has been replaced with a simple hook and screw.
