6.5-8.5; 8x10 (photos)
Notes: a very inexpensive, and, therefore, long-lived model.
It co-existed for many years with the very similar New Model
Improved. The illustrated camera is 8x10.
The wooden case is varnished, and marked on the outside:
Rochester Optical Co., and on the inside: New Model Single Swing.
This variation is distinguished by its cam-type ground glass clips.
